Volkswagen Group decided a few days ago that fully electric vehicles will be manufactured in the Czech Republic in Mladá Boleslav plant. ŠKODA AUTO’s director Luboš Vlček has stated in an interview for Mladá fronta DNES that Czech Republic could serve as an example for other countries in EV utilization. The carmaker plans to offer five fully electric vehicles in various segments until 202. In addition to electric vehicles, the Mladá Boleslav plant will manufacture also electric components for plug-in hybrid vehicles of several brands in the VW Group.
