Solek wins contract in Iran

This is the first Czech project of a similar type in Iran for the Solek company. Solek also operates in Chile, where it sold its first Cuz Cuz photovoltaic for 100 million crowns this year

Czech entrepreneurs are interested in investing into solar energetics abroad. The firm Solek has obtained a building permit in Iran and 20-year contract for electricity buyout prices for its 10 MW solar power plant. Building costs will total ca. CZK 300m, Hospodářské noviny informs. The company plans to connect the power plant to the grid in 2019. The guaranteed buyout price will reach EUR 120 per 1 MWh for the first ten years. After that, the price will drop by a third.
