Czech photovoltaic group Solek Group has developed and completed the testing of its own system for self-sufficient electricity production and deliveries. The roup is now launching the system on the market. It is based on a photovoltaic power plant with output ranging from 16 kWp to 9 MWp, with an accumulation battery as the main component. If the photovoltaic plant is dysfunctional, e.g. due to snow, the system may use a diesel aggregate. The system is fully self-sufficient and capable of supplying clients (without an external grid) in extent from one house to a large industrial facility or municipality with up to 15 000 households.
