The National Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo was held for the third time in Sydney from 13th to 15th April. Visitors could see a wide range of earthmoving equipment machinery, trucks and other accessories and equipment. The first edition, organized in 2015, was a response to the ongoing construction boom that appeared in western Sydney. The aim of this fair is to help building contractors to find a suitable equipment suppliers and to show to the wider public the latest state-of-the-art technology in earthmoving equipment and construction machinery. Most of the exhibitors were manufacturers or suppliers of earthmoving machinery and equipment, trucks, bicycles, mowers and others. Although it is quite a new fair, there is no doubt that it is a very popular event. Over 43,000 people visited the fair last year and they could see more than 200 exhibitors.
The visitors had also chance to experience the trucks of the Czech car manufacturer Tatra. Tatra has been importing its cars to the Australian market for many years. They have been working successfully together with an Australian business partner Offroad Trucks Australia years ago. The business partner does not only sale the Tatra trucks, but also provides following service and sales the spare parts.
