Czech Trade Promotion Agency – CzechTrade – was established in 1997 in Prague in the Czech Republic as a government agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The main objective of the agency is to assist in the development of trade and co-operation and to support the international trade and business activities of Czech companies worldwide.
CzechTrade office in Toronto was established in 2001 as the 22nd foreign representation of CzechTrade. During its existence, it helped dozens of Czech as well as Canadian companies gain crucial business information bearing on penetration the market, unique contacts and information about potential business partners and competitors.
The office is located on 25 Adelaide Street, Suite 1719, Toronto (King & Yonge St.).
CzechTrade is ISO 9001:2000 qualified and provides all services to Canadian companies free of charge.

Trade between the Czech Republic and Canada has increased according to the Statistics Canada more than 30 % over the last year. Canadian exports to the Czech Republic reached more than 115 million USD in 2005 (in comparison with 33 million USD in 2001), while imports from the Czech Republic were 250 millions USD (106 million USD in 2001).

YCS provides direct links to Czech manufacturing companies, including full contact to English speaking manager in the company and arranging of visit to the Czech company. - Czech Industrial Partner Search (CIPAS) – sourcing service for manufacturers
CIPAS is focused on Canadian companies considering reducing their costs through manufacturing to order, joint-venture or licensing agreement with the Czech companies. CIPAS covers number of industries but the core branches are precision engineering, plastics, electromechanical assembly and electronics (both components and assembly).
