Based in the village of Lisny near Zelezny Brod and dating back to the 19th century, Liglass, a.s. has a long tradition of producing first-class jewellery, one-of-a-kind glass lamp beads, lights, glass stones and other glass products. The production of jewellery has been influenced by establishing the State Technical Glass Trade School in Jablonec nad Nisou (in 1920). In 1956 Liglass rebuilt its factory and became the largest jewellery manufacturer in the area.

The production of hand-made jewellery has a long-term tradition in LIGLASS company and shows unique skills, practice, experience and art talent of their employees. Hand made lamp beads are made by using the winding technology. Glass rods of different colours are melted and wound around wire, which makes every bead original. The hand-made beads are created into jewellery by connecting them on strings or metal wires and components.

Products were awarded many times because of their special design, insluding the Golden Prize - Elegance 96 for original glass jewellery and the Grand Prix 1999 for Glass Ceramics.
