For dozens of years, aspiring tech entrepreneurs have looked to Silicon Valley to find inspiration. Now, many entrepreneurs are seeing the value of delving deep into China’s tech industry. China has more than 750 million Internet users, and many companies that expand into the country often see their profits skyrocket. “Outside China, tools like Facebook and Twitter rule people’s social and messaging life online. But in China, none of those work. That gives us the opportunity to use our Western perspective to come up with something tailored to the digital communication demands of China,” states Grant Long, a young entrepreneur from Silicon Valley.
