ŠKODA AUTO: Demand exceeds supply

The major Czech exporter to Israel has full production capacity and is looking for more options abroad.

Carmaker ŠKODA AUTO is unable to meet demand for its products fully and is looking for new options for manufacturing its cars. One of the options considered is transferring some of the brands to other plants in the VW group. Germany is the most seriously considered location, Hospodářské noviny informs. ŠKODA AUTO sold 1.1 million cars in 2016 and 765,000 of them were manufactured in Czech plants.
