New Skoda Power project for Cuba

Date : 04.09.2008The Czech Skoda Power, which is also active in India, has signed a contract for the delivery of a 150MW turbine for Cuba’s Boca de Jaruco power plant. Its customer is local company Energas, in which Canadian Sherritt International Corporation holds one third. The contract is worth EUR 21 millions. The existing gas power plant will be expanded and turned into a combined cycle plant.
