Oil regeneration equipment
One significant scope of activities of ES Brno. is the regeneration and treatment of industrial oils. In principle it refers to either the production of new oils or the extension of the service life of existing oils. In such a way we are involved in the solution of problems linked with:
· the disposal of hazardous waste,
· reduction of consumption of raw material and energy necessary for the manufacturing of new oils,
· saving money by offering by purchasing regenerated oil of the identical to new oil.
The equipment for the regeneration of transformer oil is of stationary or mobile design. Since 1998 a new inhibited ESTO BNX brand transformer oil is manufactured at ES Brno. The manufacturing process is based on the regeneration of used transformer oils, which are treated with high level of accuracy, by taking use of the know-how about oils and about how to achieve the composition required.
Regeneration of Transformer and Turbine Oils (BF Type Equipment):
The BF type equipment serves for the regeneration of transformer and turbine oils. The equipment is manufactured to fit the customer needs.
The whole process of oil regeneration and re-activation takes place automatically, and is accompanied with only a very small volumes of waster non-regenerated oil, of 1 to 2 per cent of total volume of treated oil.

Oil Fitration Equipment
One of important activities of the ES Brno is the involvement in environmental protection processes, in particular the treatment of industrial oils.
Filtration equipment for transformer, turbine and hydraulic oils is manufactured still as of 1995. The performance of the vacuum and coalescence based filtration units achieves the world level.
Scope of the special equipment offered:
· Transformer oil filtration (type FOL)
· Turbine oil filtration (type FKS)
· Hydraulic oil filtration (type HF)
Filtration of transformer oils – the FOL 500 filtration station
This equipment serves for the filtration, drying and degasification of industrial oils. It is especially advisable for the treatment of transformer, turbine and hydraulic oils. The device provides for the cleaning and drying of comprehensive systems by means of oil, and also drying of transformers using vacuum.
Filtration of turbine oils – the FKS 300 and FKS 750 filtration and coalescence units
The FKS filtration and coalescence units serve for an ongoing removal of solid impurities and free water from the oil, to improve the performance and parameters of oils used in turbines and for lubricating purposes. The oils used in the system become gradually contaminated with solid contaminants and water, which has a worsening effect on the oil parameters and, consequently, causes higher wear of the equipment, corrosion, increase in the friction coefficient and irregular operation of the hydraulic systems. All the above is then linked with the reduction of system´s service life. The use of filtration units is recommended for systems operated with oils of the ISO VG11 to VG68 class, and the oil operation temperature of 30° to 80°C. Oils of higher viscosity or another temperature range necessitate a special equipment for their treatment.
Filtration of hydraulic oils - the HF 500 filtration equipment
The HF 500 filtration equipment is intended for the filtration and drying of industrial oils. It is suitable for use with oils with detergent-based additives, and the drying of “water-in-oil” emulsions.
