Fortell is experienced Czech company specialising in design and production of tooling for plastic injection and metal stamping. Besides tooling Fortell provides manufacturing services including injection moulding, metal stamping and assembly. Design
The complete design documentation (incl. details) is processed in CAD/CAM system Unigraphics V 18.0.4. The results are entirely parametric 3D models of an assembly drawing and all the details as well as 2D drawings. It`s a precondition of quick and high-quality continuity to the production with the modern CNC machines. For these activities is used the technologic workplace equipped with CAD/CAM system Unigraphics V.18.0.4 for the electrode design and the modul for the programming of CNC machining. Next the CAD/CAM system of PEPS ver.4.2. is used for the programming of wire cutters.
Inputs: data files (size PRT, DXF, IGES, STEP203, STEP214)
Outputs:
- the drawing documentation printed on the plotter (size max. A1)
- the drawing documentation in the data files (size PRT, DXF, IGES, CGM)
- 3D models in the data files (size PRT, IGES, STEP203, STEP214)
Metal stamping
Eccentric presses and automatic presses are used for stamping:
Eccentric presses - eccentric presses LEN serie with closing force 10, 25, 40 and 63 tons. All eccentric presses are equipped by air feeding from P/A Industries company (USA). Each of them is equipped with unwinding and winding stands as well as straightening machine. Near more complicated products we use stamping underneath cooling emulsion.
Automatic presses - automatic presses TALO 25 and TPX 25. Input material may be wire or band with maximum width 25 mm.
Injection moulding
Injection moulding department was founded in the year 2003 and it produces the plastic parts for the electronic, automotive and consumer`s industry. The weight of press parts is between 0.1 and 120 gr.
Injection moulding machines:
- Battenfeld and Arburg with the maximum closing pressure 100 tons
The forming material:
- normal as well as technical plastics (PP, PS, SAN, ABS, PMMA, POM, PA, PETP, PBTP, PUR, PEI, PUR, PC+ABS, TPE) and others according to the individual requirements of the customer.
