The joint stock company OKULA Nýrsko was established on 1st May 1992 and at present the company is focused on developing plastic production, production of injection moulds, and production of optical frames.
The joint stock company OKULA Nýrsko is a Czech company with a tradition of many years in the field of producing optical frames and processing plastic materials. The present-day company is based on a company established in 1895. Now it is a modern company with a dynamic and efficient team of workers, a development department and a technical and technological base. In that year the small company WILHELM EKSTEIN started its production of nickel, double, gold, horn and tortoiseshell frames for glasses.
The main range of Nyrsko goods include plastic products made by injecting and blowing moulds. At present these exceed 65 % of the total sales and their importance is increasingly growing. To produce them the company makes use of advanced processing technologies as well as surface finishes. Owing to these the company is able to meet the demanding requirements of customers in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, electrical and automobile industries. This was also the reason why the company implemented and, since 1996, has successfully used a quality control system that complies with the international ISO 9002 standard. This system is at present being transformed into the new ISO 9001/2000 and the company is also working to obtain both ISO TS 16 949 and the environmental ISO 14 001 certifications.

Tool shop
Producing moulds involves injection moulding machines and blowing machines. The tool shop not only fully meets the needs of services but also the needs of producing tools for demanding domestic and foreign customers. OKULA supplies tools and fixtures to TRW- CARR, ContiTech - TechnoChemie , MATSHUSHITU - PANASONIC MTE Plzeň, and others. Success has been achieved by means of modern CAD/CAM technologies - the CATIA system used by the company.
Painting shop
The paint shop is located on the company premises in a 40 x 20 m space. It is included with an automatic line for applying NH. It consists of ionising blowing, a spraying area with water separating system, application equipment from the WAGNER company, a flowing-out tunnel, driers, a cooling tunnel, conveyers and other attachments. Colour management is controlled by special INTELLIMIX equipment from the WAGNER company. This company provides services for all technologies.
