Date : 07.11.2006Czech Trade – government trade promotion agency – was founded in 1997 with the objective to promote trade between Czech Republic and partner countries through a network of offices around the world. In 2001 we opened our office also in Dublin. It operates on a non-profit basis and provides useful information on leading Czech manufacturers and service suppliers to Irish companies free of charge.
Following successful presentation at the MEDTEC Ireland 2006 (Galway, 20-21 September 2006) and number of inquires raised there we decided to inform you further about existing opportunities.
Czech Republic has a long tradition in medical manufacturing and R&D (inventions like polarograph or hydrogel contact lenses). The industry covers production of components, manufacturing in cleanroom environment or number of services related to final delivery of product. Czech Republic can serve well as a base to service continental and Central and Eastern Europe clients. The main production sectors are:
