PEMA a.s. is an engineering company with long tradition located about 60 km east of Prague on the Prague-Hradec Kralove highway. The overall area of the company is close to 50.000 sq. m, built-in area represents more than 8.000 sq.m and comprises of several buildings.
PEMA a.s. specialises in fabrication of gates and metal products for horse breeding and agriculture. Besides company manufactures pressed parts for automobile industry (safety belts), production of bicycle carriers and bike accessories, bikes with auxiliary engine, industrial fishery equipment, metal garden furniture, wire programme, distribution lock boxes for telecommunication purposes and production of metal pressed/welded products manufactured to order.
The company is equipped with.
1) presses 10-100 tons;
2) machine scissors up to 10 mms of thickness;
3) 2 forming presses 100/3000 and 80/3000 hydraulic press 15 tons;
4) 7 pieces of point welding machines BP-20, BP 90, welding machines CO2 + argon;
5) 2 pieces of lathe machines, grinding machine, standard workshop facilities (drilling etc.).
to cover following manufacturing processes:
A) In metal working production the company aims first of all to the metal pressing at eccentric presses where it takes the advantage of knowledge, skills and experience of its workers and where it assures the deliveries also for discriminate customers, for example automobile industry subsuppliers.
B) Wire netting programme is another sphere where there belongs wire straightening, productions of bicycle carriers and production of selling shelves and advertising racks and stands there.
C) Also manufacture of sheet metal cabinets for switchboards and production of garden furniture are important activities, out of the original manufacturing programmes it is necessary to mention the production of requisites for fishing factory farming, locksmith`s work activities and job-order manufacture.
