Siemens’ Czech application centre, which focuses on solutions for power accumulation in part of Central and Eastern Europe, has installed a 300 kWh accumulation system with the output of up to 300 kW. The device, designed primarily to prolong drinking water deliveries in the case of power outage in South Burgenland, was commissioned by Austrian water management company Wasserwerk Oberwart. The system will be connected to a local photovoltaic system. The project was carried out in cooperation with Agile Europe and ELTRAF.
