Latvia exports, imports less than Lithuania and Estonia in 2016
RIGA, March 2 (LETA) –
The amounts of Latvia's exports and imports were both smaller than those of Lithuania and Estonia last year, while Lithuania recorded the biggest trade deficit, according to the Central Statistical Bureau's data.
Latvia's exports in 2016 amounted to EUR 10.332 billion, Lithuania exported goods worth EUR 22.609 billion and Estonia's exports totaled EUR 11.883 billion.
Latvia shipped 74 percent of their exports to the European Union countries.
18 percent of Latvia's export of goods went to Lithuania and 12 percent to Estonia last year..
