Czech scientists actively participate in international projects

Scientists from the International Clinical Research Centre of the St. Anna University Hospital in Brno (FNUSA-ICRC), together with their British colleagues, participate on several projects funded from European Union’s Horizon 2020 program. The projects include e.g. CresPace, led by University of Bath, South England, aimed to develop a new bio-electronic pacemaker, or the ES-Cat, led by University of Cambridge, which focuses on search for new proteins and their usage in medicine and biotechnology. Together with a Liverpool-based company, the scientists attempt to develop antidotes to the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
