CzechTrade – We Can Help You to Find Your Way to the Central Europe

Trade between the Czech Republic and Sweden has increased more than 100 % over the last 10 years and the positive trend remains unaltered despite a global slow-down. Swedish exports to the Czech Republic reached more than 4 billions SEK in 2003, while imports were 3,9 billions SEK. The Czech Republic is even more and more perceived by Swedish companies like ideal country for cost-effective outsourcing links that helps them to stay competitive on the world market. Czech Republic joins European Union (EU) and European Common Market in May 2004 which will further simplify Czech-Swedish trade and investment relations. CzechTrade office in Stockholm is assisting Swedish companies to benefit from this development by providing variety of services:

  • Your Czech Supplier (YCS)– sourcing service for consumer goods
YCS is focused mainly to the Swedish companies that are looking for new suppliers of consumer goods to spread already existing assortment or to start with the new product. Through YCS you can reach directly the manufacturing companies in the Czech Republic including full contact to English speaking manager in the company and arranging of visit to the Czech company.

  • Czech Industrial Partner Search (CIPAS) – sourcing service for manufacturers
On the other hand CIPAS is focused on Swedish companies considering reducing their costs through manufacturing to order, joint-venture or licensing agreement with the Czech companies. CIPAS covers number of industries but the core branches are precision engineering, plastics, electromechanical assembly and electronics (both components and assembly).
