Unex is the the engineering-metallurgical complex based in Uničov.

The engineering-metallurgical complex UNEX Inc. specializes in equipment for the mining of mineral raw materials. Production ranges from welded steel structures and components for the construction of bridges and factory or sport halls to welded components such as frames and working parts for construction machinery. Thanks to its own foundry, UNEX Inc. is self-sufficient in procuring steel castings for its own production and supplies most of castings to the world`s major companies.

Machinery

The focus of the Machinery Product Group is the serial production of steel weldments, jibs, upper frames and undercarriage frames and work equipment, including their working and coating, predominantly according to the customer`s specifications. Weldments typically weighing from 500 up to 50,000 kg are also used by major manufacturers of construction and earth moving machines, shovel excavators, mechanization technology, and power tools. Our cooperation is always based on the principle of dedicated production capacities and long-term partnerships.

According to our customers’ requirements we are able to produce steel structures from typical structural steels S235, SS75, S355 or from steels with increased yield strength – Weldox 420, 450, 700 and also from abrasion-resistant steels - HARDOX 400, 450, 500. Another logical step in the long-term cooperation with our commercial partners is the transition to sub-assemblies and also partial assemblies for a finalising partner.

Production and assembly of machines on wheels or on tracks such as e.g. shovel excavators, dump trucks and other similar machinery with mechanical or hydraulic drives.

As well as being able to supply complete shovel excavators and service components, we also produce especially for foreign clients, such as Germany, Holland, France, and Belgium. Our customers include leading manufacturers of construction and earth-moving machinery, handling equipment and power devices such as:

Castings

The foundry products are an integral part of the UNEX Joint Stock Company offer, one of the outstanding engineering and metallurgical complexes in the Czech Republic.

The UNEX Foundry produces carbon, low-alloy, medium-alloy and high-alloy steel castings and nodular iron castings. Our manufacturing program includes about 120 batches of materials. UNEX castings are widely used in the railway industry, heavy engineering, construction and mining machinery, handling equipment and other industrial branches all over the world.

The UNEX Foundry produces carbon, low-alloy, medium-alloy and high-alloy steel castings, nodular iron castings, grey iron castings, manganese steel castings, malleable and white iron castings. Max. and min. weights of manufactured castings please see enclosed PDF presentation.
