The Czech Republic belongs to top 20 most at the peace countries in the world

Date : 15.08.2008The Global Peace Index (GPI), which ranked 140 countries according to their relative states of peace, is composed of 24 indicators (for example: nation’s level of military expenditure, relations with neighbouring countries, the level of respect for human rights, level of violent crime, potential for terrorist acts and criminality). Iceland is ranked as the country most at the peace, followed by Denmark and Norway. The Czech Republic is on the 17th place and after Slovenia is the safest country in the region of central and eastern Europe..
