Drutep was established on 1st July 1952 via a merger of 4 smaller plants, which produced candles, sparklers, brushes, gel valves and bath salts. It has been extending its portfolio and modifying products and services since then. The company produces 60 different kinds of domestic chemist products – toilet detergents, fabric softeners, special starches for clothes, detergents for ironing and washing, coloured paint tints, bath cosmetics, sparklers and hexamin blocks. Also the production of sparklers has a 70 year old tradition. The company started the production of specially shaped sparklers as the first in the world. For the Swedish market the company would like to offer mainly the ecological coloured tints for interior use and solid firestarters.

The company employs about 95 employees and has cca 3 mio. EUR turnover.

COLORED PAINT TINTS FOR INTERIOR USE

Light-fastness adulterated colours in the bride colourful assortment are used for engrain painting appilication for interiors. They can be used also for staining of wood.

Hexamethylentetramin is a clean solid fuel to light barbecues, fireplaces and campfires.

SPARKLERS

Straight (10, 16, 28, 40, 70 and 90 cm) and shaped (various shapes – star, tree, heart, numerals, letters and other shapes on customer´s request) sparklers for Christmas time, New Year´s celebration and for other solemn occasions. Supplied in grey or coloured (gold, red, white etc.) All sparklers are registered at the Czech Proof House for Firearms nad Ammunition.
