The company TIÚ PLAST is a traditional Czech producer of protective tubes based on high density polyethylene (HD-PE) for the protection of optical cables in telecommunication lines. The HDPE micro ducts are manufactured according to Czech and foreign standards and tested by independent testing authorities. There is a broad range of colours available according to RAL scale. The micro ducts can be also lubricated and signed according to the type and additional requirement of the client.
TIÚ PLAST is certified according to ISO 9001:1995.

Microducts
Microducts are used to contain optical microcables by pulling or jetting the cables in with compressed air and serve as a protective encasement. Normally, a bundle of microducts are jetted into larger-sized HDPE pipes. This makes it possible to construct an optical network exactly as is needed and leaves room for capacity to be increased into the future.
Material used
HDPE with a combination of lubricants that ensure a sufficient reduction in the friction coefficient in the internal ribbed surface of the duct. Microducts with reduced flammability are available for areas that required increased fire-retardant properties.

Outer and Inner Surface
The outer surface is smooth and a single colour. The standard inner surface is smooth, but upon request microducts with a ribbed inner surface or with a co-extruded layer of polymers can be supplied. The ducts conform to a 0.1 friction coefficient specification.
Printing and Duct Colour
Twelve shades are available standard; additional shades available upon request. Ducts are marked with contracting print (ink jet) that lists the basic identification data – length, producer, seller, type of product, dimensions, date and time of production. The text can be supplemented or changed as per the customer’s requests.

Water Program
1. ROVOKAN - Plastic pressure water pipelines and sewerage drains
Pressure pipelines are designated for transport and distribution of liquids, especially drinking water, sewerage, salt solutions, acid or alkali solutions or food liquids (beer, milk...). It may be used for transport of solid materials, which do not incur static charge at their transport. Used material is resistant to most liquids.

2. ROVOKAN+ - Plastic water and sewage pipelines with increased resistance to heat and chemicals
The pipelines are designated especially for inside distribution of drinking water (including food products) and for distribution of utility water and sewerage (e.g. at swimming pool production, at water cleaning plants, at oil separators, Travis tanks, sewerage drains).
