Scientists develop new ECG technology

Czech scientists have developed a new high-frequency ECG technology that allows more accurate determination of treatment for a particular patient with a failing heart.

 

Scientists from the Brno Institute of Scientific Instruments, the International Center for Clinical Research, St. Anne's Faculty Hospital and company M&I have developed a new high-frequency ECG technology. It allows more accurate determination of treatment for a particular patient with a failing heart, thereby significantly prolonging his or her life. The information was provided by the Academy of Sciences (AV ČR), which has secured a US patent for the technology.
