EPH launched UK 396 MW biomass plant

The Lynemouth power plant owned by Czech utility EPH began operating its first biomass-fired unit last week. All three units (132 MW each) are to reach full capacity by end of March this year. The project is to operate until 2027 and supply about 2.3 TWh of electricity per year.
