Czech engineering companies introduced new light combat vehicle intended for special forces

Three Czech companies DAJBYCH, TATRA DV and OPTOKON introduced their new light combat vehicle LRPV Gepard intended for special forces. The trio’s new car was built on the tried and tested chassis of the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 and was created for special and airborne units. The new version of the LRPV Gepard has the potential to replace the overwhelming Land Rover Defender 130 Cayman currently possessed by the Czech Republic Army and was well received by both general public and Czech & foreign armed forces experts.
