Abu Dhabi will supply water and electricity to northern emirates

Date : 29.05.2008ADWEA (The Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority) will supply electricity to the northern emirates - the supply will be aprox. 2,500 megawatts a day by the year 2015 and will be confined to residential buildings and services establishments such as hospitals and schools. Commercial buildings will not be included. The supply will depend on the commercial operation of the F2 station which is expected to commercially produce electricity by the summer of 2010 with a daily capacity of 2,000 megawatts of electricity and 130 million gallons of water.
