Czech government indebtedness declined in 2017

Czech Statistical Office: The government gross debt amounted to 34.68 percent of GDP in 2017, confirmed by Eurostat. In 2016 it was 36.81 percent of GDP.

In 2015, the government gross debt amounted to even 39.96 % of GDP. At the end of 2017, the annual balance of the Czech government sector reached a surplus CZK 78.2 billion
