The investment fund ČEZ INVEN CAPITAL, together with venture capital company Lead Ventures (LV), which invests in the project through a fund backed by MOL and Eximbank, acquired a minority stake in the startup Neuron Soundware. Neuron Soundware raised almost CZK 150m from investors for further development. Previous investor J&T Ventures is also part of the investment round. Neuron Soundware, with the help of neural networks, teaches computers to flawlessly recognize sounds of imminent machine failures before failure occurs. The Czech company’s customers include Siemens, which tests the solution for monitoring switches. Customers implementing the solution in the automotive segment include, in addition to ŠKODA AUTO, also BMW and Daimler, as well as MVV Energie, E.ON and innogy in the power industry, LG electronics in the electronics industry, Airbus in aviation.
