Scientists from ČVUT develop autonomous miner rescue systém

 

The team of scientists from the Czech Technical University in Prague (ČVUT) has managed to develop a system of autonomous helicopters and robots capable of surveying a mine in case of a mining accident and finding traces of presence of miners. The head of the Multirobotic Systems Group at ČVUT, Martin Saska, has stated that the system is ready for practical application in tunnels, mines and quarries around the world.
