Date : 31.08.2008On behalf Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York, CzechTrade and CzechInvest we would like to thank all attendees who stopped by the booth #630, the booth of the Czech Republic at FIME show (www.fimeshow.com) in Miami on August 13-15, 2008. We would like to thank you for your interest in Czech medical devices and supplies we displayed at the show. This was a great show for all of us as a number of leads exceeded all our expectations.
To summarize the companies presented at the Czech Republic booth:

BIOSTER, a.s. was established as a private enterprise in 1993 (with the history tracing back to 1972), and is registered under the name BIOSTER, a.s. with its principle office located in the Czech Republic.
In general, we are producers of medical devices, and further more we can offer service of sterilization by irradiation as this kind of facility is in our possession. We are certified (as well as all our products) according to all EU standard regulations concerning medical devices, so all our products are provided with the CE mark and can be easily marketed within the whole Europe with all appropriate documentation.
BSV Kubiš (www.bsv.zlin.cz)
BSV Kubiš is a manufacturer of surgical needles, pathological needles, tattoo needles, needle bars and various wire products intended for all industrial sectors as per customer’s request.
Production of needles and atypical products from wire includes the following range of work:
- straightening of wires and cutting to lengths
- tip grinding
- various bending
- pressing
- reducing
- hardening
- surface finish of metals by polishing and tumbling
This range of work is possible by using special machinery enabling to make and treat wire of diameter from 0.20 to 4.50 mm.
BTL INDUSTRIES, Inc. (www.btlnet.com)
BTL Industries is the US distributor of BTL medical products (Czech based company), and 100% subsidiary of BTL Holdings Limited.
BTL engages in design, manufacture and sales of medical equipment. The company operates in 4 distinct segments: physiotherapy, cardiology, pneumology and medical aesthetics. Its products for physical therapy include electrotherapy, lasers, ultrasounds, magnetic therapy, shockwaves and manufacture of couches and whirlpools.
