Carmaker ŠKODA AUTO will debut its first fully electric vehicle study, VISION E, and its outlook for electromobility for the near future at the Auto Shanghai motor show (April 19-28, 2017). VISION E is based on the firm’s modular concept and offers systemic output of 225 kW and mileage of up to 500 km. The vehicle may be recharged via induction power supply, i.e. without cables. The study complies with the prerequisites for level 3 autonomous driving. By 2025, ŠKODA plans to offer five fully electric vehicles and several plug-in hybrids.
