ČEZ Teplárenská invests CZK 143m in six projects

ČEZ Teplárenská is currently carrying out a conversion from steam to hot water distribution in Svojsíkova Street in Teplice.

When asked by ČIANEWS about investments into ecological solutions in the regions, ČEZ Group spokesperson Alice Horáková further informed that the total number of projects is CZK 143m. Support from the OP Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness will cover 34% of the costs. After the completion of the projects, CO2 emissions will be reduced by 871 t per year and thermal energy losses by 8.21 TJ. In 2020, ČEZ Teplárenská, carried out four investments in Teplice for nearly CZK 87m. Of these, 36% were financed by subsidies. The conversion of steam to hot water pipelines reduced losses by 6.53 TJ per year. In Janské Lázně, the conversion of the centralized heat supply was completed at a cost of CZK 117m. As a result, emissions fell by 3.87 kt and energy losses by 32.26 TJ.
