By the end of 1Q 2022, more than 1.1
million m2 of new industrial space was under construction in the
Czech Republic. This is according to a survey by the Industrial
Research Forum (IRF), whose members are Cushman & Wakefield,
CBRE, Colliers International, and JLL. Gross take-up (including
renegotiations) reached 724,300 m2 and increased by 12% q/q. This
is the second highest volume after the record-breaking 1Q 2021. The
vacancy rate increased by 47 basis points to 1.8% compared to 4Q
2021. The hihest achieved rent was EUR 6.40/m2/month.
