The Czech inovative company ERA is going to help to protect Latvia airspace

ERA has secured a new contract in the Baltic States. Its WAM system will be installed in Latvia and will monitor air traffic above the entire country and partially also over the Baltic Sea. The delivery of the new WAM FIR Latvia system is a significant expansion of existing system WAM Riga, which ERA installed in the vicinity of the international airport in the capital city in 2008-2011. ERA will supply 23 ground stations of its multisensor system combining Czech multilateration technology and ADS-B. Information from the new system will also be used by Liepaja International Airport and Lielvarde Air Force Base.
