Airport Prague has opened a public tender for the provision of a framework loan up to the amount of CZK 7bn. It will cover the existing obligations of the company, but also help with future ones. The loan will finance, among other things, the planned sustainable development. The airport wants to follow the so-called ESG elements, i.e. the principles of sustainable business, which is also in line with the approaches of banks. Chairman of the board of directors Václav Řehoř added that thanks to the savings, the company financed the operation from its own resources during the nine-month downturn in 2020. An external source of money was used in December.
