As part of the SESAR 3 (Single European Sky ATM Research) programme, the Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic (ŘLP) will participate in supporting artificial intelligence (AI). This information was provided by the Czech Ministry of Transport. The company would also join the Smart Sky concept application for safe integration of drones. The SESAR 3 programme will be managed by the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking (S3JU). The key founding members are the European Commission and Eurocontrol. Other members include over 50 entities, including the ŘLP. The programme’s total budget is EUR 1.6bn until 2030.
