Photon Energy doubles volume of PV projects in pipeline

Photon Energy reported record revenues of EUR 36.36m (+28.7% year-on-year) and EBITDA of EUR 9.58 million (+13.6%) for 2021. It has strengthened its cash position to EUR 32.51m to fund future growth. The Group announced this as part of the publication of its annual report.

Photon Energy also reported 103.3 GWh of electricity generated compared to 70.0 GWh in 2020. It commissioned two power plants with a total installed capacity of 14.6 MWp in Leeton, Australia, and another 1.4 MWp plant in Tolna, Hungary. It also more than doubled the size of its upcoming photovoltaic (PV) projects to a total capacity of 490 MWp and acquired 1,200 hectares of land in South Australia for a 3.6 GWh energy storage project.
