ČSSD presented a bill on the construction of affordable housing in the Czech Republic. Deputy and Mayor of Náchod Jan Birke said that it is based on the government's program statement, which obliged it, among other things, to emphasize support for affordable housing and create conditions for municipalities to demand from investors a certain share of so-called cheap flats. According to the legislation, flats could also be built by municipalities and individual citizens - in a cooperative or association, which, according to calculations, will reduce their prices by up to 33%. In the design, ČSSD was inspired by the model used by Austria and England.
