Prague public transport company (DPP) plans to purchase up to 140 hybrid articulated buses

DPP will conclude a framework agreement with the winner of the tender for a period of five years. Hybrid buses must meet the definition of a so-called clean vehicle according to the currently valid directives of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU

DPP plans to purchase up to 140 new hybrid articulated buses. It announced a public contract for their suppliers with an estimated total value of CZK 2.017bn. DPP will conclude a framework agreement with the winner of the tender for a period of five years. The basic requirement of this public contract is that the offered hybrid buses meet the definition of a so-called clean vehicle according to the currently valid directives of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU. The main evaluation criterion of the tender remains the acquisition value with a weight of 65 %, fuel consumption, resp. the guarantee of its savings has a weight of 18 %, the offered warranty period 7 %, the supplier's experience with hybrid technology 5 % and the delivery date of new vehicles also a weight of 5 %.
