Tatra Defence Vehicle is preparing the construction of a new hall for welding steel chassis and other constructions of military vehicles. When the investment plan is ready, it will issue a tender for contractors. The company confirmed this to ČIANEWS, saying that the investment will be in the order of tens of millions of crowns. Completion of the project is scheduled for 2024. At the company's Kopřivnice site, where Tatra Trucks is also located, work is now underway on prototypes of the new generation of the Tatra Force model series for civilian and military use. Work is also underway on a prototype vehicle powered by hydrogen fuel cells, which will be unveiled in 2023.
