The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced a one-stage public competition in research, development, and innovation for 17 April 2023. The competition is part of a programme called Earth for the Future, sub-program 3, "Innovation in Practice," and will be funded by the National Recovery Plan based on a regulation of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU.
Only projects introducing innovation in SMEs can be supported in this competition. The total subsidy per project can be up to a maximum of CZK 20 million and must not exceed 50 % of the eligible project costs. The de minimis subsidy is also limited by the conditions of this Regulation. Projects may, individually or in combination, focus on product, process, and organisational innovation. There are several restrictions on the possible projects. The project must start between 1 January and 30 April 2024, and the duration is limited to 24 months.
The applicant must, among other things, fulfill all obligations and comply with the requirements of the tender documents and the relevant regulations. Project proposals will be evaluated in terms of compliance with the conditions of the call for proposals, and only one application per entity (ID) is allowed.
The competition period, i.e., the application deadline, runs from 18.4.2023 at 9:00 a.m. to 9.6.2023 at 4:00 p.m.
