After 17 years the Czech Republic improved it´s position in ranking of international rating agency Moody's to the historically highest level

The agency has raised credit ranking of the CR by one notch to the fourth highest grade. The key reasons for upgrading the rating are low debt and strong budget performance.

Moody's Investors Service cited mainly budget indicators and reforms supporting economy. The agency defines future outlook as stable. It was announced that they are not planning any credit ranking changes in the near future. The Czech Republic is taking one of the top places in the ranking within Central and Eastern European countries. According to the agency Czech government debt should fall in the next two years.
