Avast has stopped offering its products in Russia and Belarus. It has stopped all its marketing and sales activities in both countries. Avast is the Czech company that develops and provides software for cybersecurity pays an equivalent of CZK 50m per year on value-added tax in Russia. Now it refuses to contribute to the funding of the regime. On the other hand, the company is strengthening its product and service offering in Ukraine. It will extend licences to paying users for free. In addition, free-of-charge product users now have an opportunity to get paid versions of its premium software for free.
