The Central Crisis Staff is proposing to the government easing the border regime from April 27, 2020. Central staff chairman Jan Hamáček (ČSSD) said that the measure would apply to trips linked to business activities, i.e. the possibility of travel for commuters, for contractors or trips to business meetings. At the border, they would be admitted to the territory of the Czech Republic after submitting a negative test for Covid-19 not older than three days. J. Hamáček further stated that the state is able to award contracts for protective equipment up to CZK 100m to Czech companies by the end of April.
