Czech gov’t abolished addition of biocomponents to fuel

The Czech government has decided to abolish the mandatory addition of biocomponents to fuels.

In response to the sharp rise in fuel prices in connection with the
war in Ukraine, the government has decided to abolish the
mandatory addition of biocomponents to fuels. The Ministry of
Finance of the Czech Republic further informed that the government
has also abolished the road tax for cars, vans and trucks up to 12
tons. Both the abolition of the obligation to add biocomponents to
diesel and the abolition of the road tax are permanent.
