Foreign trade surplus increased to CZK 13.4bn

The balance of Czech foreign trade in goods at current prices ended in July 2020 with a surplus of CZK 13.4bn.

According to preliminary data, which was CZK 15.2bn higher y/y. The Czech Statistical Office informed about this, stating that the balance with the EU27 ended with a surplus of CZK 50.9bn (+ CZK 7.5bn). The trade deficit with non-EU countries decreased by CZK 7.6bn to CZK 35.8bn. On a month-on-month basis, seasonally adjusted exports increased by 4.9 % and imports by 5.8 %.
