The distribution company EG.D is observing a significant decrease in energy consumption in households and companies for the second month in a row. The company informed about this, stating that the reduction in consumption is evident especially with gas. Its consumption fell by 23.7 % compared to last November, and by 21.1% compared to November 2020. Energy experts also record a smaller consumption of electricity, with values down 8.5 % yearon- year and 6.7 % compared to November 2020. The EG.D company distributes gas in the South Bohemian region and the Pelhřimov district and electricity in the South Bohemian and South Moravian regions, in parts of the Zlín and Olomouc regions and in the Vysočína region.
