The Czech Ministry of Finance (MF) expects a year-on-year increase
in the collection of legal entities’ income tax, excluding tax paid by
municipalities and regions, from CZK 147.5bn to CZK 148.4bn. The
collection should total CZK 166.7bn in 2022 and CZK 183.8bn in
2023. According to the forecast, VAT collection should total CZK
450.7bn in 2021 (2020: CZK 430.2bn). The ministry expects VAT
collection to total CZK 472.5bn in 2022 and CZK 491.3bn in 2023.
