The aim of the Czech EU Presidency is to quickly discuss and approve legislative changes concerning flexible assistance to regions in dealing with the consequences of the Russian aggression in Ukraine (FAST-CARE). This was announced by Regional Development Minister Ivan Bartoš (Pirates) at a meeting of the European Parliament's Committee on Regional Development and Committee on Transport and Tourism. He also promised to adopt the Council conclusions on the European Agenda for Tourism 2030. He added that the Czech Presidency is ready to deal with the legislative proposal on short-term rentals, which the Commission has indicated to publish in 2H 2022. The aim is to address the unstable situation and lack of transparency, especially regarding information sharing between platforms and the public sector.
