During the period before Christmas, e-shops in the Czech Republic sold products worth CZK 45 billion. During the busiest week commencing December 10, 2018 they generated a turnover of CZK 5 billion.
A total of 31 % of customers visit several e-shops and compare their offers. A total of 24 % opt for their favorite e-shop and order their goods from it. A full 23 % of respondents use price comparison tools and shopping advisors. A survey was conducted by the Association for Electronic Commerce (APEK).
